EXP 2 - Final Submission

Final Submission Theory A sanctuary for a cinematic experience is a product of a unique environment and an innovative approach to design. Real-Time Images Overall Structure - This side profile of the school explores its context, sitting parallel to ANZAC parade where tension wires span over across the road towards NIDA. The shape of the building has influences from the Burj Al Arab in Dubai and the innovative works of Calatrava with the incorporation of dominant concrete structures and light tension chords. Ground floor - Elevated above the ground, the school invites its visitors through an open grand staircase. At a low angle, the public can acknowledge the grand curved skeleton-like structure with its tension chords connecting it to the ground. Week 0 - Before the first class

Personal Piece of Creative Work Design and Technology Major Work Prior to commencing my Civil Engineering with Architecture course, my creative works of design came from my Design and Technology classes throughout high school. This bedside table, created for my Year 12 Major Work, is composed of 70 individual layers of laser cut plywood sandwiched between two 15mm thick sheets of clear acrylic plastic. These layers are held together by wooden dowels with 3D printed plastic stopper caps. It is my most creative work with its innovative manufacturing and assembly method along with its integrated lighting and smartphone charging features.
